Beware of Job Scams!

Qualigen always conducts telephone, in-person, or video conference interviews with job candidates during the recruitment process. Job scammers avoid in-person and audio or video communication with job seekers and restrict their interaction to emails, text, or messaging platforms such as WhatsApp, Google Hangouts, or Telegram. Furthermore, they tend to use email addresses that are not associated with Qualigen or a reputable staffing agency.

Phishing is a type of scam used to trick users into divulging sensitive information. Scammers will often pose as a legitimate company in order to steal financial information or account credentials. Phishing attempts may contain attachments, documents, or requests for “interviews” on messaging platforms such as WhatsApp, Google Hangouts, or Telegram.

If you receive an email or text that you suspect might be a phishing attempt, do not click on the URL within the message. File a report to the FBI Internet Crime Complaint Center (IC3) or the FTC.
